The clients for this project wanted a unique, handmade stationery suite for their wedding that reflected both of their personalities and individual styles. I worked with them to create the whale and macaw illustration for the front side, which represents the joining of two worlds — sky and sea — and incorporates their favorite animals (as well as a Star Trek insignia hidden in the whale's spots).

 

With wedding invitations, I aim to create paper goods that inspire recipients to hold on to them after the event date. The couple and their guests receive both an informative piece and a piece of art that remains on the fridge - and in their hearts - well after the event.
